Insurance

The following insurances are currently accepted.

• Highmark BCBS
• ComPsych
• Cigna
• United Healthcare
• Quest Behavioral Health

If our office is in your insurance network and covers mental health, we will make necessary arrangements to bill your insurance company for our services.   Please note that not all concerns/conditions, which are dealt with in psychotherapy, are reimbursed by insurance companies.  It is your responsibility to verify the specifics of your coverage.

If your insurance is not accepted, it is possible for Out-of-Network benefits to cover services in part.  Please contact your provider to verify if and how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services from an Out-of-Network provider.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

• Does my health insurance plan include Out-of Network mental health benefits?
• Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
• Do I have a copay? If so, what is it?
• Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
• Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment

I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is due at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged the scheduled session fee.
