Dr. Shadana Davis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University, a Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College with a concentration in Psychological Assessment. She is an experienced clinician with over 15 years of practice with children, adults, couples, and families from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
Her style is warm and empathic to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel engaged, empowered, and safe to explore issues and life experiences that may be contributing to difficulties. She uses an integrative theoretical approach which allows her to honor and tailor treatment to the unique concerns and needs of each client. She is passionate and dedicated to assisting each client develop skills, heal, and ultimately grow in their ability to navigate through life’s challenges. She specializes in the treatment of ADHD related difficulties, depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment difficulties, relational challenges, trauma (emotional, physical and mental), and cultural diversity related concerns. She has clinical expertise in psychological assessment, including diagnosis of ADHD, Learning Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, and a variety of other psychological conditions. In addition, she has extensive experience in consulting with parents and schools on meeting a child’s emotional, behavioral, and learning needs to facilitate academic success.
Dr. Davis is also an adjunct faculty member at Chestnut Hill College in the Clinical and Counseling Psychology Graduate Program, where she has taught Psychological Assessment, as well as Child Development in the Undergraduate Psychology Department.
